I think Uthoff will continue to improve but hes already that guy just by simply being a senior and taking White out of the equation.
Yeah, I think Uthoff improvement is inevitable and, quite frankly, necessary for Iowa to be successful next year. He will be a beast. So, the real question should be, other than Uthoff, who becomes his right hand man. IMO, it has to be Peter Jok. He needs to become that sniper shooter for Iowa. Jok with a breakout year.

With the seniors departing, I think Fran accelerates the shift his recruiting seems to be indicating to a 4-out, 1-in offense. As far as who is the most improved player, that gives the guy replacing White in the line-up an opportunity to improve a lot. But, whoever it is, I think they will be required to be a shooter/slasher. That could be Uhl, Clemmons, or a newcomer. I think we all expect Uthoff and Jok to continue to improve and would be disappointed if they didn't. Woody will have better numbers, if for no other reason that there's no other post on the team. Gesell I expect to just be a solid senior PG with occasional flash. That's what he's grown to be.

Wow.....good thread by all and very exciting to read the possibilities because there are many. Agree with Canada above and I am really looking for Dom Uhl to make the biggest leap. I've been on him from the start with his skill set, his handles shooter/slasher abilities.....a very unique and particular set of BB skills for a guy 6'8" tall. Plus it sounds like from Tom K and others closer to the program his work ethic is very intense which is great to hear.

PS.....I don't know if anyone has seen this vid yet because I think it's pretty recent for Isaiah Moss this year. I really like this kid. He's tall, a lot of length and his game is very smooth on the perimeter shooting or attacking the rim....and I mean dunks with ease. Christian Williams brings a lot of these same skills and length and maybe more handles than Moss but they both can handle the ball. Quite a pair. Can't wait for PTL.

Isaiah Moss....2015 highlights

In terms of increasing individual production in a percentage increment, I think the obvious choice is Uhl (and I don't think Ellingson should count given his limited playing time this year -- next year will be his first real season).

However, in terms of the most important improvement, I think it will be either Uthoff or Woodbury. If Woodbury can be a stud center next year that gives us a consistent low post offensive threat and can play 30 minutes per game, we are going to be a very good team. Likewise, if Uthoff can reach his potential (I really think he could score 20 points per game if he's aggressive enough) then we are going to be very tough to beat.

I see Uhl likely tripling his offensive production, but even if he can score 6-9 points per game it doesn't guarantee much in terms of the overall strength of our team.

I think Woody will be the most improved I think he will have alot more of an attitude and aggressiveness on offense. I am reaaly excited about Woody playing a few more minutes and having a wing replacement coming in that can stretch the floor out and be a threat from the perimeter. With basically Woody or Olaseni in all the time, bigger slowr centers could just park it in the paint knowing that neither of them were a threat from outside 12 to 15 feet. bring in a uhl to replace Woody once in awhile will force other teams bigs to go out and guard I think it adds another dimension and flexibility to our line-up.But I admit I am not very basketball savvy.

IMPROVES most would have to be a player like Uhl probably, maybe Jok if he learns how to handle the ball.

Who we need to play the BEST though is obviously Uthoff, Woody, and I think most importantly, Gesell.
