I was also one of the first on Hawks Nest but cannot remember my username. Moved over here when I think Josh Clark and maybe Jon Miller opened this place up around 2000 as superhawkeye. Had a username for those years but never posted nor logged in, so forgot what it was. The painful ‘07 Iowa football season pushed me to create a new name so I could give a likely freezing cold take about the team. Only really started posting from time to time when got attached to a work desk. Boredom is a bitch! (Particularly for all of you who have to suffer through my posts).
Started lurking back on the Big Ten boards and the Hawks Nest. Followed Denver Hawk from the Big Ten board to here. I remember the online meltdown when Bob Stoops went to Oklahoma instead of becoming Iowa's head coach and the hiring of someone named Ferentz that very few of us had heard of. I also remember getting real time information about 9/11 on Hawks Nest. Had to change my username here when my computer konked out and I had no idea what my username or password was due to being a lurker. Didn't really start posting until I retired in 2016
I started at HawksNest but switched over here when the kids started HS. That was the prep board. Not sure why I stuck to this place, it's a complete and total cesspool.
Since 10/9/02 by the rivals records. Football and Bball boards on warchant then found the locker room in late 2003. Found HROT some time in 2004.
1999, fall. We were very excited about Steve Alford and a 3 pt. Shooter named Brody Boyd was going to come in and change everything.
Yup, everyone was so excited about Alford and disappointed about Ferentz. Funny how it all turned out.

Whenever it started, after whatever the earlier board was called stopped. I used to post under my real name but some tough guy looked me up and posted my address. I decided it probably should switch to a different name. My profil shows 2013; I think at some point I wanted to change my user ID and I had to create a new account.
I began on the old Big Ten Fan Forum (BTFF) in the Fall of 1998.

I joined Nov 12th 2002. Hard to believe it’s been that long. I’ve seen at least 3-4 regimes it seems like. And I’ve kept the same Moniker the whole time.
Some of you have been members for 23 years? I genuinely didn't even know that sports have been around that long.
Yep, Denverhawk was Jon Miller. His brother used to post on the Big Ten Fan Forums too, but I don't remember his handle.
