He is Alec Baldwin's less famous brother and a former wrestler at Bingingham University.
Maybe if I just said he was the brother of Stephen Baldwin.. you would have known who I was talking about also.
I love the guy. I assume you know who he is -- Alec's brother, actor, etc.
To me, he's the actor version of Mike Golic -- has a platform as a celebrity and loves to talk about wrestling. The more Billy Baldwins and Mike Golics in the world, the better off our sport will be.

He is garbage interviewer! Why can't they get someone who asks a question that gets the mullet answer
Well I guess that explains why he is holding an on-camera conversation with ex-New York Mets manager Bobby Valentine while live matches are in progress.

I like the guy, and he knows wrestling pretty well. A good ambassador for our sport. Like it or not having people like him and Bobby Valentine involved is good for wrestling.
He's a B-list celebrity, but he's our B-list celebrity.
That actually is fairly relevant...given that Valentine is an Athletic Director at a Division I school that sponsors wrestling (albeit one that, if I'm not mistaken, hasn't had so much as a national qualifier since 2007).
Sacred Heart hired its first full time wrestling coach two years ago, who is a top notch guy and who will make the program, if not a power, a respectable and sustainable one. Valentine is the guy who hired him, and who is dedicated to maintaining a competitive D1 team.
So, yeah, it was relevant.
Didn't Baldwin do a lot of work to help get wrestling back into the Olympics? For that alone he deserves praise.
Been in about 40 movies believe it or not. Interviews are OK. I don't like his "I'm doing ok for having done this much cocaine, aren't I?" look.
Most people realize that he's not the one controlling when they do interviews right? Sports events have producers which control what happens on camera from a truck usually. All the middle of match interviews are coming from the producer or higher ups. The blandness of the interview would be Billy Baldwins problem though.
I was surprised to learn the BV was an AD. I thought he was still managing in Japan. My first thought was who would ever hire this guy as an ad. Probably one of the most hated managers in baseball by his own players and was always contentious with his collegues when he was on mlb tonight on ESPN. He's definitely not a people person.
