Who is the next to commit?

Mr. Troll - you got your ass handed to ya. Congratulations!
Wait. You guys are saying Mike is a buffoon? You're kidding.
As I said "The better school for a recruit coming in to be a National Champion is OSU. Don't worry about the up coming recruits you are after, we're not interested in them. As for the Team NC title and NC titles this coming season, John will have them going in the right direction at Nationals and Iowa will have them going the way they have the last few! Which mean to a few of you another year with out a title. I'm surprised that Iowa is wrestling a top D1 school early in the season, almost every year Iowa has mostly stayed away from D1 schools. Could Iowa peek early this season (beginning of Nov), sorry that's been the case the last few but around the beginning of March.

I used to think Tognetti was an ok guy. He has proven that he is nothing more than a troll. Go away fool, you look like an idiot.

Mike T. Thank you for proving the prestigious Oklahoma State university of smart thinkin'
Counts past five didn't make the cut for degree programs.
If you are trying to be a good troll, at least try to include the actual facts and numbers. I know it's like a cowboy to back out of a fight, but this is just silly. Stop stalling.

Dude went off the tracks.I would be more interested in knowing who Mike thinks will be the next OkieSt recruit rather than the direction he chose to take his participation in this thread.

He was never anything other than a tool. He tried to act buddy buddy but the subtle brag and and backhanded compliments are the best he could muster.

I also would like to know who our first recruit would be, but I have a feeling this will be a small class. Pokes have signed high end recruit at almost every weight in the last 2 classes. Actually the only holes in the last 2 classes have been 74/84 depending on where C Rogers lands and possibly 285 depending on where Andrew Marsden projects. With that being said Hall would fit perfectly, but that seems unlikely. If I had to guess Wyatt Sheets will be the first.

Tognetti used an argument that most likely the OSU coaches use when recruiting a kid. They pick the best possible scenario that makes their program look the best.
Nice rebuttal. I am sure the Hawks use the scenario that makes them look like the best program. In reality, I don't think the kids have a very long memory. You can bet tOSU and PSU are selling the heck out of the last year and 5 years respectively.
In the end, I am going to guess the Hawks get the kids who want to be a part of something big and are willing to take a chance and put in a ton of work. Those are the kids you want right?
Both schools can provide a kid with all the tools and help he needs to become a national champ. Personality of the coach and how they connect with the kids is probably big.
I would think Iowa has the edge in the department of where you are going to be famous and have the crazy support of the best wrestling fan base in the country. (Possibly second only to the Iranians for the best fan base in the world.)
You can bet, TnT are selling that also.

I agree though that his last post about the Hawks tanking etc is unwarranted and pretty close to classless.

Mike can't return post right at the moment. He's waiting for Coach Smith's car to dry before he starts waxing it. And when he's done with that... well... there's that hedge that needs trimming and the lawn needs mowing.

Gosh... this thread started out so promising and then ole Tog contaminated the whole thing. But wait... he says he's not like Amalooney, so there's that!

I've learned soon can be a few weeks on this board. It's funny when some posters get this info because its correct but it usually is way longer a time frame than thought. Like waiting on a woman to get ready. You know damn well it ain't gonna be the 10 min she says. so have a beer and sit back.

... Lee AND Suriano. Having heard multiple interviews with both guys, I don't think the money will be the deciding factor in where they land. Their folks are already shelling out private school money for their kids as it is.

Lee goes to a public high school. Suriano goes an archdiocesan Catholic high school (where the tuition is about $15,000 a year rather than the $50,000-plus a year it would cost in room and board at a private school like Blair or Wyoming Seminary). I don't know anything about either family's finances, but I don't think their high school situations shed any light on how large a scholarship award it would take to land them.

I think we all will be happy soon
