Who smokes pot?

I used to. Didn't "quit" for lack of love, but I've found that after school I don't want to deal with the people my age who still deal. I also don't want to hang where the kids hang just to score some weed. It'll come up a few times a year still and I'll partake then. I did prefer smoking to the edibles or vaping. You have a lot more control over your dosage when you smoke versus edibles and I love the taste/smell of the herb.

I'm slightly suspicious of the ounce you bought, conveniently, in CO. Maybe things have changed but, when they legalized, people with an out-of-state ID were only allowed to buy a quarter per day. Which means you would have had to visit 4 shops in one day to come out with an ounce (I'm assuming they don't cross-reference purchases). Or have someone with a CO ID buy an ounce for you. Or stay there for 4 days.

One of the excellent things about living in a state where it's legal is that you don't have to be around dealers just to get a little bit of weed. You just walk into a store and have a selection of sativas, indicas, and hybrids in various quantities, edibles, pre-rolled joints, etc, as well as paraphernalia. You don't have to get it from some dealer who might be selling something else too, or someone who expects you to smoke part of it with them before you leave even though you paid for it and you don't want to drive under the influence. It needs to be legal nationwide very soon. Legalizing the industry puts people to work rather than in jail.

I don't disagree with anything you said. I favor the legalization of cannabis and the decriminalization of the possession/use of most other drugs. Not a big fan of the meth, wish there were better answers for opiates (clinical trials with ibogaine?).

I hear you. I think if we decriminalize possession of drugs and treat it from a public health perspective (health centers for addicts, etc.) we could cut down on a TON of unnecessary violence and death in this country and in Latin America.

Yes but not often. It's legal in Oregon, but it's not a big deal. They don't sell edibles yet, only strains and seeds. What you can get in dispensaries in Colorado/Washington/Oregon is way better and fairer priced than what I could find anywhere else.

Fwiw it's legal in Oregon but people who do it don't really talk about it, and it's not as taboo. It's just like drinking.

Also in Oregon only beer and wine are sold in grocery stores, you have to go to a separate liquor store for anything else. Likewise you have to go to a separate dispensary for marijuana. So hard liquor and marijuana are treated similarly. Besides the banks don't allow money from dispensaries.

I refuse to answer that question on the basis that it may incriminate me.

Not to mention cleaner and safer. The only real danger to people that smoke is the risk of buying it. This stuff is potent, I took a little 11 hour nap after I posted this yesterday, lol. My body clock is even more screwed up now.

I went to more than 4. I bought different types and edibles (which I didn't like as much). I stayed downtown and was alone so I didn't have much to do.

This one place MMJ (kinda by colors field) was great and a couple others by my hotel were good.. One was horrible and unorganized and the clerks didn't really know how to guide you.

I'm on one that's called Indica, which basically must mean "lights out" lol.

I smoked a lot in high school and some in college (graduated college in 2007). We had what I felt were pretty good connections to get good bud.... But I was either wrong or what they have in Colorado was just increddibly primo.

Smoked with a group that hadn't done drugs in years and it pretty much ruined our night. Nobody could communicate after just a couple puffs and I think it was the longest I ever sat in one place without moving

Delivery is great too. I hate smoking but I recover better from it than eating my high.

What's crazy is how detailed/serious these shops have gotten. It used to be just hire a hot chick to sell the supplies, but now dispensaries employ people who know what they're talking about. It's not just this will get you high, it's how high and any other specifics

But I prefer delivery because I don't have to deal with other people. Just drop it off at my door in 30 mins and done

Edible start off great and then I get really tired and sleepy. It is more of a body high.

I think a hash oil vape pen is the way to go. Its healthy and potent.

I love my vape pen. Hands down my favorite method. The wax is extremely potent when hot knifed. Expensive, but it goes far beyond other highs. Edibles are nice, but not my cup of tea.

I found that weed destroys the short term memory.

I'd smoke on a Saturday and couldn't remember the entire weekend.

I don't, but I will throw it out there that one of my cousins served three tours between Iraq and Afghanistan, took mortar fragments to his torso and neck, and suffered three TBI's from IED's and he swears by pot. He works with disabled vets and will tell anyone he meets how effective it is for vets.

No...never have. Never wanted to. Was raised that only low life scum did drugs. Sorry ! Have many friends that did/do but no way for me. Most of them have grown up and don't do it anymore. I have a customer that let it get the best of her and the pot and the meth just cost her biz she had. She now only cares about being stoned all the time. Bank trying to sell her very viable biz! Very Sad!

It's worth a shot for vets, but they won't all react like your cousin. There are people who will smoke and react awfully. One reason I wish the feds would re-schedule it is so that pharmacologists have more opportunity to study the effects of different cannaboids and potentially develop more tailored strains or medications for medical use.

havent smoked pot in a while. given a choice between getting high off weed or getting s**tfaced, I will take getting high. never had a hangover in the morning after smoking the previous night

Nope never

A friend of mine bought, and enjoyed, some edibles in Colorado. He said it didn't seem to effect him at all, except that suddenly everything seemed to be really, really funny!

Something that makes people laugh their asses off should not be illegal .... anywhere.

In drug threads, the proper nomenclature is "SWIM" (someone who isn't me).
