Just saying that I would be absolutely shocked if the actual ratio for any urban school district, anywhere in the country, was under 20-1 at an absolute minimum. and if Baltimore actually was under that ratio, then that school district is even more messed up than I thought.
Can we get a list of overreach and over regulation? I’m sure there’s some but is it worse than the alternative?
He asked the number of homeschoolers so I googled it for his lazy ass and cut and paste the paragraph with that number and the count of kids in Baltimore county schools so he could see how many home school.
So if any one of those 5000+ kids is grade level proficient in math they’re doing better than the kids in those 23 public schools.
Can you think of a way to help me explain to him the probability none of those 5000+ kids are grade level proficient in math?

Probably about the same that the test scores in Baltimore are reportedly as bad as they are to be honest.
Some I like, some I don’t, for our country. But my opinion doesn’t matter. Argentinians’ does, and they elected a guy who is not an idiot, and who metaphorically and symbolically said he’d take a chain saw to the status quo. That’s their choice.
My sons school program, routinely a national champ contender, goes down there every couple of years over spring break and routinely gets their asses kicked.
Argentina continually steps on their own dick economically. Let the cycle begin again.

My anecdotal experience is some good, some bad, and some parts good, some parts bad. Frankly, the actual education is usually ok. It’s the seeming lack of socialization that I often see that’s my bigger concern.
