Who would have taken 21-10

It's not this year in a vacuum that people are upset about. It's the that 21 regular season wins is the absolute max Iowa can have with Fran as the coach. 21-11 is not that impressive when you consider at least 6 to 8 of the 21 on an annual basis are "guarantee" games. That makes 21-11 is the equivalent of 7-5 and a December bowl in football. And it's not like we're getting there every year, either...those are the BEST years.

So, basically we should be lumped in with drake and what not, is that what you are saying? LMFAO
How many p5(6) teams make it??
I’m not really sure how you get much more specific when there are several non P5 conferences who routinely get multiple teams into the tournament. And the number of major conference teams who make the tournament changes on a year to year basis.

If you’re able to come up with numbers that better illustrate how “mediocre” making the tournament is, when you’re finished laughing your ass off, I’m open to changing my mind.

Edit: oh and Drake is an easy mid major example, being the fourth largest university in Iowa. What about Gonzaga? Should we be consistently outperforming them? Be sure to include teams like them in your numbers and where Iowa “should” rank compared to them

The question isn’t whether we would have taken a 21-10 record after a terrible season, the question is how do we stop these end of the season slides? Fran is not going anywhere, and he probably shouldn’t at least for a year or two, but numbers don’t lie, and Hawk fans have every right to be furious.

2010-11: Lost 6 of 7

2011-12: Lost 4 of 7

2013-14: Lost 5 of 6

2015-16: Lost 4 of 5

2017-18: Lost 6 of 7

2018-19: Lost 5 of 6

Seriously, you're gonna compare gonzaga to the LARGE majority of non p6 schools? lol, that's funny

Again, now many p5/6 schools make it each year(on average)? half? either way a hell of a lot more than 20%.....

What % of non power 5/6 teams are ranked? What % of p5/6 teams are ranked?

What’s funny is that I stated my opinion and you are asking me questions that I am supposed to look up and answer to refute my own opinion? Here’s an idea: look it up yourself and formulate an argument instead of posting lmfao’s and lol’s.

You totally missed my point regarding Gonzaga. The point is that there is a spectrum that mid majors compete on. Not all are like Drake, not all are like Gonzaga. More than a few are a lot like Iowa. Not only that, Iowa’s “place” in the basketball hierarchy is totally subjective and could be debated endlessly. So I just chose to include all of the Division 1 teams

Hopefully this post was as funny as my last two. I like to entertain
