would like to hear reports on these 3,
RB Graham
WR Ogwo
QB Weigers
any other info would be appreciated stats if available

Definitely won't be any stats if it's like previous years. Usually tough to get a read on most guys. They're saying it's supposed to be more fan-friendly this year with the kids stuff, so hopefully that means less drills and more 7 on 7 and scrimmage too.

Now that you remind me, I'll be going. Gunna try to get CJ to sign the Des Moines Register newspaper of when we had a perfect season.

I also may whisper "don't choke" to the team as I walk by.

Since they didn't do any live scrimmaging, it was more difficult to evaluate offensive line play or the running game. I thought CJ threw the ball well in the passing drills and during the 7on 7 and 11 on 11 situations. Matt Vandenberg and George Kittle looked outstanding, and Jay Scheel , Jerminic Smith , Riley McCarron, and Adrian Falconer all had their moments. The receiver that stood out the most to me was Jonathon Parker. He gets open, catches the ball well, and made things happen after the catch. Ogwo looks very speedy, but is light. Weigers threw the ball well, and seems to have a strong arm. TE John Wiesniski also looked good. Jameer Outsey apparently was injured and didn't practice. Defensively it was clear that even though the receivers had some good moments, we have an outstanding secondary. Josh Jackson looked like a future star. Josey Jewell will be one of the best linebackers in the Big Ten. The two field goal kickers, Ellis and Recinos both looked pretty good. I don't think either has a leg quite as strong as Marshall Koehn, but both were pretty accurate.

It's really nice to hear about CJ out playing. Of course still worried about any lingering effects from his injury, so this is a positive for the fall.
