Trickery though in that it measures comparative trust, while "absolute" trust of either candidate on any of these issues is near zero.

Again, given the comparative nature of the polling question, perhaps the better question is, "how could any person trust Harris less than Trump to handle anything?"

I don't know how you could trust either of them on anything.

They do have records though, and objectively we were better off under trump. She can't think of anything she'd do different than Biden despite being asked multiple times, so...

There's no guarantee America improves under either of them, but one has a more positive track record.

Those numbers are really interesting to me. CA DA vs a guy that who's law experience seems to be mostly frivolous lawsuits, being a defendant and launching spurious accusations.

Trump has proved himself to be unacceptable.

Harris is squandering her opportunity to prove herself to people like me, by dodging clarity on issues important to us.

That's probably a safe strategy, since we will never vote for Trump. But we could vote 3rd party or just give up.
