I think straight people look older than gays of the same age today...I'll be 50 next month, but Jean Stapleton and Carroll O'Connor were 44 and 48 (respectively) when All In The Family kicked off. They look like their in their early 60s!

Pretty accurate except I think Rizzo would probably kill you first.I would have pounded Frenchie. Killed Rizzo. Killed pigtail bowl cut. Killed measuring tape guy in the back. Married Marty.

Because Jean Stapleton and Carroll O'Connor looked 60 when they were still in their 40s? ...trying to connect the dots here.

Reminds me of when George Friedman told us that capitalism continues to prevail because of its ability to generate new markets through advertising, including new markets for things like vaginal deodorants that we've not needed for the previous 5000 years.Far more plastic surgery today
After having been in Orlando and Clearwater Beach last July, to that I say no thank you. Also, air conditioning. Most people today are not subjected to the elements like people were not too many decades ago. I can remember riding around in a car in early 1970s Miami with no a/c. In the summer, it was as hot in the car as it was outside.
Make that 1,000,000 years in some cases...Reminds me of when George Friedman told us that capitalism continues to prevail because of its ability to generate new markets through advertising, including new markets for things like vaginal deodorants that we've not needed for the previous 5000 years.

Yeah those kids don’t look 70’s. Mid 60’s more likely.I would say exposure to the sun might be a big factor there.
I think the high schoolers might in part be because of the conservative dress.
Sugar (real cane stuff) and lard.Smoking and sun exposure.
But in far lower amounts. And processed corn syrup today is not great either.Sugar (real cane stuff) and lard.

We live in a world with too much information these days.I don't remember my mother or other mothers putting on as much makeup back then either.
You were who you were, not who you wanted to emulate vanity wise.
Do you say that as you look at weather forecasts two weeks out?We live in a world with too much information these days.
It's good for some things, not for others. I think a lot of our misery is created by too much information.Do you say that as you look at weather forecasts two weeks out?
Yep!!It's good for some things, not for others. I think a lot of our misery is created by too much information.
