As America prepares itself for Spring and eventually
Summer, we renew our love for bleach blonde women.
Gals like Kate Upton, Jennifer Aniston, Stacy Keibler,
Scarlett Johansson, and Brooklyn Decker come to our
minds.

Why the fascination? Is there anything wrong with
brunettes or redheads? Do blondes have more fun?
Does a bottle of bleach make a difference? The
men and women of HROT can explain their views.

This thread is missing something. What could it be? Hmmmm.

A.T. as I ponder the question of this thread,
may those who have the technology skills please
give us the necessary visual aids for this project.

We're talking about hair?

I'm not sure any of the listed are technically blondes. I get that you added the part about the bleach, but just found it ironic.

The discussion is deafening. Why did Upton
and Aniston bleach their brown hair and make it
blonde? Did they know that blonde hair would
advance their careers? Do gentlemen prefer
blondes?

A guy in our neighborhood is retiring at the age
of 58. There is a possibility that he and his wife
will move back to suburban St. Louis. I asked
his wife if she was going back to her roots. She
replied, "No, I enjoy being a blonde."

Me thinks Lute doesn't know what 'bleach blonde' hair is.
+1 Bleach blonde is actually red, as in a red flag (i.e. hookers, skanks, unsophisticated etc.)...although it is kinda sexy too, in a dirty sorta way....I guess.

While the correct term might be dyed blonde in
a salon, the popular usage in contemporary lingo
is a woman with dyed blonde hair becomes a
Bleach Blonde Bimbo.

"Bleached blondes".....reminds me of a story my dad told me about his WW2 experience. His B-24 squad was based out of southern Italy...down by the heel of the boot. He arrived there on 1/1/1944. The Germans had recently been there and were being pushed north.
Pops talked about all the Italian women there still had bleached blonde hair (and black roots)...as the Nazi's had left not long before he arrived. The Nazi's liked their women blonde.

He laughed about having to pull up hard on the wheel when taking off in order to miss the whore house at the end of the runway.

I have decided after many many years that the reason I prefer Blondes is that they are easier to catch. For some reason, and not because I have not tried going after darker hair types, I always end up with the Jennifer Aniston, long blond hair types. I think there must be too much competition for the Kim Kardashian types, leaving more blondes for the rest of us.

My wife of 25 years is predictably blonde with blue eyes ... and is still hot although her last modeling gig was about 30 years ago ... so I am perfectly fine with my inability to attract brunettes and redheads.

Titus, we thank you for your thoughtful and logical
response to the question posed by this thread.
You are a scholar and a gentleman.

You forgot to add: Pics of your wife from 30 years ago to that.

I can say that if two women are standing next to each other, similar build, similar # on the hotness scale, I'll head for the brunette every time, particularly if she is darker complected.

In fact, that's how I ended up with a dark haired, brown eyed, dark complected wife (no pics) for the last 25 years. She was standing next to her blonde roommate (would post pics if I had any) and I asked her to dance instead of the roommate.
