I'm not OK with any war, certainly not a hypothetical one. Russia could do the right thing and totally withdraw tomorrow and I'd be okay with that, even if they still laid claim to Crimea as they have prior to 2022. Don't hate Ukraine nor their President, they are in an unfortunate spot, but they have to be realistic about where they are...they want to liberate themselves and get all of their land back. Just not going to happen.

My annoyance with the republican party is that is that they aren’t saying “Russia is the bad guy here but we can’t just keep giving you money when we have deficits here, etc”. Instead republicans twisted it like Ukraine is the bad guy and not Russia. It’s insane but republican media have mostly all parroted it.

Why can’t he do that? That is literally Trump’s negotiating tactic with everyone else. Canada, Mexico, Europe, his playbook is shit on the other party, threaten them, etc. and then try to make a deal. This time he’s doing it with Ukraine and not Russian for some reason.
