Why is the Iowa AD not taking heat for scheduling this game?

Iowa's overall record for the last 10 years (2005-2015): 85-56

Nebraska's overall record for the last 10 years (2005-2015): 94-51

During that same time span, both Nebraska and Iowa have each won the west/legends division once. Of course, Nebraska has only been in the B!G since 2011. From 2005 - 2010, Nebraska won or tied for 1st in the Big 12 North 4 times.

Literally, our last decade was statistically better than Iowa's

Not only that but you also let Wisconsin put 70 on you! One more thing that Nebraska has done several times more than Iowa. Nebraska is far ahead in that department.

Barta gets the heat because he made it that way. He is the one who gives out tge lifetime contract extensions, he is the one who is scheduling this crap, he is the one greasing the palms of his old schools with Iowa money.

Kirk is untouchable because Barta made it so, but Barta is touchable. Somebody needs to be held accountable and he is the man st the very top.

So Iowa's ADs scheduled this game, then gave KF an extension the week before because they "knew" he'd put less effort into it? Are you making the point that Iowa's ADs wanted to lose to NDSU?

Mostly sarcasm. I would safely say he wanted to win this game very badly. When the contract was signed, they were a crap team that year. He was probably looking at a nice paycheck for his alma mater and the school his daughter works at. Then they started being really good and hew was probably thinking "oh shit" this could backfire.

I would sure hope he didn't want to lose this game.
