We spend a shitload on the military and could use the ROI.
We are wasting military resources in far away places.
Feds need a massive infusion of wealth and cutting costs (while necessary) isn’t nearly enough.
Canada has what 30M people sitting on a landmass that should be supporting at least 10-20 times as many.
Canadians mostly live on 2 small slivers on their coasts and might not even know leave alone miss the middle 2-3 provinces after we take over. We could populate those places and massively drive GDP up and even give canadians a cut.

Although a land invasion seems the most obvious, I’d propose a naval invasion. There’s a lake about 90 miles north of where I live that straddles the North Dakota/ Manitoba border. I can verify it’s very lightly fortified, as I’ve entered Canada dozens of times on my pontoon.
We’d be in Winnipeg in no time!

No one is invading Canada. The idiot threatening the US energy supply is going to find out some hard lessons though and we won't need to do a thing.
I never took you for criticizing Trump but ok. I don't disagree with you there.

Have you watched what happened to Russia after they invaded Ukraine?

Mexico has a lot of beachfront property and would probably welcome the takeover. Almost a mercy invasion.
with mexico problem is weather is too nice, beaches like you say, and great food. we’ll get lazy and the entire invasion will go to shit. with canada i feel like we’ll get a better roi.

I'm not sure we can detain all of SCTV cast
As I think about this a bit further in light of the current HBOT board, the comedy practically writes itself:

Fade in to scene with the late Joe Flaherty dressed in Count Floyd costume, lying in a coffin, while Canadian mourners pass by to pay their respects. Suddenly the screen gets blurry as the signal is jammed, then refixes on...wait for it...

Matt Gaetz on OAN's show "The 51st state", interviewing Kari Lake and Pete Hegseth as they talk about upcoming plans for the annexation of our northern friends and our communication strategy to make sure things go smoothly. (Later in the segment, Martin Short will do a cameo as Justin Trudeau.)

Now we got something going.
