Why we should be SO Proud to be Hawkeyes!

Just like all Iowa fans, am I upset, disappointed, and humbled about getting our arses handed to us by what was obviously a better team? Do I worry that we may not be able to recruit the speed in the future that we obviously needed tonight... and Stanford had? YES to all of the above.

But, I am so damn proud of our team for fighting hard till the bitter end, never giving up, and doing the Hawkeye uniform, team, and fans proud!

If you watched the end of the Orange Bowl last night, did you see how MSU gave up and threw in the towel? Did you see how empty the MSU side of the stadium was in the final minutes of the game?

Proud of our team for playing as hard as they could. It's not their fault they were matched up against a superior team that our coaching staff had no idea how to prepare for. Feel really bad for the seniors, who have to swallow that humble pie as their last memory of their football careers.
