I think he wants to make sure Alina has plenty of time to prepare so she is really sharp this time. Last time he was railroaded too quickly and she was not allowed proper time to prepare a defense. She is hitting the books this time!
To be fair, it can make sense in a very complicated case but Trump has used the same stall tactics and delaying actions for years to escape accountability, so he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt...ever.
What do they have on him? Last I heard it was discredited lies. New developments?
Shows weakness if he's losing case after case...so it's delay/delay/delay.
Here is a newer piece of info. They are closing in now, at least in perhaps charging some GOP congressmen!

2. In light of #1, why would a person want to expedite a criminal proceeding in the ordinary course, setting aside potential eventualities like exculpatory witnesses dying?
