Not trying to troll but with QB Peyton Mansell in the ‘17 class and Spencer Petras in the ‘18 class plus the long tradition of Iowa preferring pro style QB’s, why would a dual threat QB prospect like Duggan come to UI?
Why do you say “He won’t?” We seem to be a college he is interested in. You must know something that the rest of us do not. Please tell.He won't.
Competition at any school he goes to will be very tough. Will probably depend on which coaching staff and offensive coordinator he feels most comfortable with. If it looks like someone else is locked in ahead of you though, it does make it tough to pick that school. These kids all want to play, as soon as possible.I don't think Duggan will come. Stanley is here for two more years, we just added 4* petras and Mansell who is a dual threat QB with 4 years eligibility remaining, so I think Duggan will assume playing time at Iowa might be tough for a few years. Of course,he might like competition, but personally, I think he goes to Nebby.
Sincerely, Carson WentzPlaying time at any P5 is going to be a battle. He is talented but hes not the level he can show up and be hands down the man at QB.
Its a matter of what he wants to gwt out of college athletics.
If he wants to be a Pro he better get lined up in a Pro style offense so he has less to learn at graduation.
If he wants to play, compete and win without being a pro it looks like NDSU would be a real good option.
Yea was gonna say why throw the without being a pro in there lolSincerely, Carson Wentz
Nebraska just signed the #9 Dual threat QB in the country, and signed the #6 Pro Style QB in the country last year that was higher than Mansell. If he's worried about competition, he's better of coming here than Nebby.I don't think Duggan will come. So other top tier schools don’t sign a QB every year? Others don’t try to sign highly rated QB’s. Doesn’t make sense. Not trying to troll but with QB Peyton Mansell in the ‘17 class and Spencer Petras in the ‘18 class plus the long tradition of Iowa preferring pro style QB’s, why would a dual threat QB prospect like Duggan come to UI?

Kirk would love to have a dual threat QB, and we have recruited similar QB's on many occasions. Think Brad Banks and Drew Tate. It just isn't easy landing a true dual threat QB. Everyone wants one. Duggan would be a great fit at Iowa. Not trying to troll but with QB Peyton Mansell in the ‘17 class and Spencer Petras in the ‘18 class plus the long tradition of Iowa preferring pro style QB’s, why would a dual threat QB prospect like Duggan come to UI?
