Will BTN show the Grapple live?

I would hope so, but they'll likely have a football game at the same time. Maybe wrestling on overflow?

I wish NBC would televise it as they only have ND football later in the day.

You would think an ESPN platform might go for something like this. Maybe on ESPNU or ESPN News, but BTN2GO sounds the most likely.

BTN2Go makes the most sense. There are 6 BTN conference football games that day, so there are likely 2-4 games starting the same time as the wrestling meet.

That's almost too bad. It will draw quite a few fans away to the comfort of their couch and 60 inch tv.

Publicity is always great though

The growth of wrestling is as much about media exposure as it is about butts in seats.

Hoping that either College Gameday or the BTN morning football show can at least do a small segment or at least talk about it on their shows.

It would be nice to at least get a mention somewhere, if not on a national show. I'm betting BTN Live brings it up at some point (if they haven't already) and touches on it again as the dual gets closer.

I would be absolutely STUNNED if there is no mention of this dual on those Football programs that day. STUNNED I tell ya!

How about both IA and MN run the table in football so gameday can be there themselves. How cool would that be

It may have came across as sarcasm, which admittedly I enjoy, but I do honestly believe we'll hear about it on those channels that day. The Iowa versus Minnesota game won't have anyone's attention nationally. The only thing on the line will likely be who represents the Big Ten in the Salted Nut Roll Bowl, which I believe is played in Minot, North Dakota on Dec 18th......................

(the STUNNED I tell ya! was a lame attempt at a Bob Ryan impression.............);)
