Do the women leave for the next level like the men?

Jalen Suggs is presumably one and gone.
How about Caitlin?

I think salary would be between 100k and 200k. No idea what she is majoring in but if it is medicine her best path may be a free degree, wnba and on to her non athletic career. The money just isn't there for someone unless the degree is more generic.

If she stays healthy and maintains her pace, she may have a shot at the all-time women’s scoring record. It’s a sky high 3,649 points.
I was wondering what that is....if she keeps the pace up (not even counting if it improves) she is going to finish with just some unfathomable scoring stats.

WNBA/overseas money isn't nearly as lucrative as NBA money. Unless she can snag an endorsement deal or two, she's probably going to make a lot more money with her (presumptive) degree at UI over 30+ years than with a 10-15 year WNBA career (assuming she sticks).

She's a 4 year player with her birthday falling in January she won't be eligible for the WNBA draft early. Once in the WNBA under the new CBA her rookie contract, depending on draft pick # will be north of $75k with a max for the most experienced players (Taurasi, Bird, Delle Donne, etc.) being just over $200k for a 34 game season. Money overseas isn't what it once was unless the player is one of the worlds best, With Caitlin's talent level, she has an opportunity with the WNBA and overseas of earning from $750k to $1 million per year - if she decides to play overseas.

Why? She'll likely make more from her academic track than the WNBA. (unless she chooses a fool's degree like "fill-in-the-blank Studies"). Considering her academic profile, that's unlikely.
She's got a bright future that likely includes both pro basketball and a strong career path afterwards.

I am pretty sure he wasn't much of a base stealer. Dude had a great swing and always looked better since he was a lefty.

I bet she's getting some good endorsements though

For sure -- she signed the biggest deal with Nike that a Women's BB player has ever received. She led the Ducks to 2 Elite Eights, 1 Final Four and was leader of the team last season that was a favorite to win it all at 31-2 when the season was cut short. Being from Oregon she was a natural for Phil Knight to sign as well as being such an engaging personality. Let's hope Clark is able to lead the Hawks to the same sort of heights.
