Will Iowa have a chance at a huge upset on 2-2 vs USC on Caitlin Clark day?

I haven't watched one second of USC this season, but I know they're pretty good with the Ju-Ju and all. So can Iowa use the energy of CC's jersey retirement and 15,000 fans to pull off the major upset? It would be awesome, of course, but I don't know if it's possible. What do you think?

If Lucy sets the pace like she did last game and everyone else plays within themselves and limits the TOs, Iowa has a chance. I hope the combination of good vibes that day can lead to what would be a tremendous Hawkeye victory.

They also lost by 40.

Would take a miraculous effort and never going down double digits to pull off. Maybe we find some way to get 10+3s, Lucy with 25+, and get them in early foul trouble? Probably not happening, but I hope Iowa puts in a good fight and competes. Maybe we missed three game winning shots as trade for one big one?

Would be a nice thing to upset one of the top ten teams this year after stumbling so hard--either in season or the Big Ten tournament.

These players better get a good dose of it while CC, a bunch of future Hawks including a newly named McDonald's All-American (Addie Deal) and highly rated potential recruits are in the house. This is one game that could help in propelling this program closer to the upper tier of WBB.

Here's one way you can help in continuing to build out that winning legacy before you leave the program that CC helped build a solid foundation before us. That just might happen with inspired play to pull off a memorable upset.

What better way to do that by making a statement against CC's heir apparent. It could put some nice "icing on the cake" to compel one or more recruits to make CHA their future home for even more magic.
