I like him being in there, I think we should stay with the small lineup.
He had a good game. And maybe Dembele was pissed he lost his starting spot because he had a good game too.I like him being in there, I think we should stay with the small lineup.
it was the physicality of the other team, when you have to push/pull/post, it is much more taxing than just running. ISU's defense forces you to play at a level you are not used to.He had a good game. And maybe Dembele was pissed he lost his starting spot because he had a good game too.
Freeman only 26 minutes and still he looked a little gassed at times. Sick? Still recovering from sickness a few weeks ago?
I don't disagree - he had to do a lot of heavy lifting.it was the physicality of the other team, when you have to push/pull/post, it is much more taxing than just running. ISU's defense forces you to play at a level you are not used to.
Outside of defense, this is where fran lost me long ago. He believes he has a roster filled with players and he doesn't.I don't disagree - he had to do a lot of heavy lifting.
But Dix (36), Sandfort (39) Thewell (36) and Harding (31) had big minutes. They don't have to bang inside as much, but ISU was physical all over the floor.
Getting Cooper back and Traore to 100% would sure help.
Only 4 minutes for Pryce?
Fran really shortened his bench for this one.
Yah, KF has only about 50 wins against teams like Albany, UMass, Arkansas State, UNI (by a point) . . . Watch out, Music City Bowl . . . LOLOutside of defense, this is where fran lost me long ago. He believes he has a roster filled with players and he doesn't.
He saw he couldn't play guys tonight because he was playing a defensively stellar team. He needed ball handlers/guards.......He couldn't play a bunch of unathletic 6'6"-6"7" kids with lower level ball handling skills.
My question is: what took so long? You're just now figuring out guard play is important....It infuriates me that he knows what it takes to play at the highest of levels but refuses to adjust his style. That's why i've been done with fran for awhile.
He has a quitter mentality. He has never adjusted his philosophies when he knows they don't lead to wins. (This isn't what kirk does by the way) his philosophies lead to all americans and wins. There's a lot more wins to be had in D1 hoops with 300+ teams vs 130 in football. I can hear the arguments already.
lol. That is every coach who ever played. How did kirk do the year he beat UNI by a point?Yah, KF has only about 50 wins against teams like Albany, UMass, Arkansas State, UNI (by a point) . . . Watch out, Music City Bowl . . . LOL
