Will Title IX apply to NIL & Rev Sharing? If not, how should IOWA Football divide roughly $16M in Revenue Sharing between the 105 Roster Players?

Imagine thinking every football player receives NIL or even close to the amount a scholarship covers. News Flash: some don’t get much if any.

Not sure if you can disclose, but any idea how Georgia will divide its revenue sharing amongst its 105 man roster? Also, will the amounts being paid be made public?

We haven’t heard anything other than the SEC is sticking to the 85 scholarship limit for 2025 season. Don’t know how much will be allocated to football or how they’ll split between football players. I’d imagine it’ll have to be public for public institutions.

This is a good discussion. Scott throws out paying $15M to the football players.

How much would the 85 scholarship players get paid? What about the 20 walk ons?

Nice attitude. That being said, they aren't employees. And if we ever see a place where college athletes are considered employees it will be an end to a majority of college athletics. Very few could ever afford to fund teams.
It's semi-pro ball now. We have seen that the top 20ish teams have big NIL donors, need to just separate the haves and have nots.

I just wonder if the NCAA had allowed full cost of attending a school along with a stipend would have changed things.
