Will Trump pardon Chauvin?

My guess is since pardoning him wouldn't spring him from the state pen that he probably won't. Why invite the criticism for a symbolic pardon?

If he wasn't under state charges than yes he probably would.

There are legitimate concerns as to whether Chauvin received a fair trial.

Regardless, a potential Trump pardon has zero upside and immense downside. The federal sentence is running concurrent to the state conviction, thus not resulting in anything tangible. For it to make a difference, it would require a Republican governor to take similar action on the state charge.
It’s symbolic. Sticking it to the libs. Good enough reason to do anything.

Ben Shapiro (failed Hollywood writer turned Right Wing grifter) and his Alt-Right company are trying to get this movement going. It has already caught the attention of our Co - President Elon Musk.

We could be looking at Trump race riots volume 2 coming to a city near you.
Weren't those state charges?

He has no authority over state/local charges.

Chauvin is already behind bars on state murder charges for his role in Floyd's death. In that state case, he was sentenced in June 2021 to more than 22 years in prison on charges of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter for his role in Floyd's death.

Robert's SC going to overrule state laws now?

It makes perfect political sense in a MAGA world to make this Pardon. Trump pardons him in a blue state. (Sentence runs concurrent, so it doesn't matter). Causes mass riots in the blue state and then orders the national guard to enter the blue state, setting up a showdown with the blue state governor. Eventually rallies the base so much in the blue state to flip it red. I mean, it's the same playbook of doubling down on racism that has successfully worked for a decade now. Play to the lowest common denominators.

There are zero concerns he received a fair trial. He’s a bad person and he’s where he belongs.

Trump might pardon him but he still has to serve his state sentence.

We are all better off he’s off the street.

If the crimes were so obvious and blatant, why weren't GOP committees able find enough evidence to bring forward articles of impeachment much less criminal charges?
Because GOP and find evidence don't belong in the same sentence.

Please list off the concerns you had with his trial, and the three co-defendants.

The question of him receiving a fair trial has been answered for anyone with a functioning brain. He did not.
Please list off the concerns you have from his trial, and those of his co-defendants.
TIA
Edit: Oh, you did, and it was a massive fail.

This. The protests would give him an excuse to impose martial law.
This. He is fixated with imposing martial law, the insurrection act, and using the military against civilians. So many of our sober minded legal experts have minimized the moves of Trump, but he has removed the guardrails, and the people who would say no to the 82nd Airborne killing civilians (Ni**ers), in the streets of US citizens.

To prevent Trump's lackeys from using the power of the DOJ from going after them.
Which is precisely what they were going to do.

If they want to go after them, they have two avenues. One, treason isn't pardonable. Two, they can have charges brought in a MAGA-friendly state.

So, why haven't they brought "treason" charges, then?

Perhaps, because Rudy Giuliani "holding up a piece of paper" with a Russian stooge in the photo with him isn't actually admissible evidence, perchance?

Uh, no. They cannot.

Just like "Democrats" cannot go and charge 1/6 criminals that have been pardoned in "Non-MAGA Friendly states".
You seem a bit clueless on how the laws in this country work.

They wouldn't last 10 minutes this time around, the dogs and firehoses are ready.

I didn't say they should be charged. I am not aware of any evidence to support it.
