Sure if Russia leaves Ukraine without Ukraine having to hand over any of it's pre-war territory and Israel simply stops bombing Gaza and the Palestinians and the Israeli's all get together and sing Kumbaya Trump should under those conditions get the Nobel peace prize.

There are many ways to end wars.
Now, if he can find a way to help broker peace in Ukraine and Gaza that allows lines to be drawn and lasting peace to exist, then he would deserve it.
If he creates an environment where Israel just destroys Gaza, or Russia just runs roughshod over Ukraine and we have massive humanitarian crises, then no, that wouldn't be deserved.
As Tacitus said, "The Romans create a desert and call it peace." If that's the solution, well that's not deserving of any rewards or praise.
I remember Biden ending the war in Afghanistan, and that was poorly done and justifiably criticized by Trump supporters. If that kind of ending is what we see in those two conflicts it will be a sad indictment of America.

Plenty. The entire Donbass region, along with Crimea and a promise that Ukraine will never join NATO if I had to guess. Trump gets some prime real estate in Moscow and St Petersburg.

Is he going to restore the Ukrainian borders, Russia will just go back home. They say Trump is in power now. China has been setting the plans to forcibly take Taiwan in 2025 to 2026. Lets get some popcorn ready for that one. As to Israel, they are going for the endgame and really don't care about what the US wants, they will maybe even incredibly hurt Iran, only to watch 10 more proxies form up in the next 10 years. Netanyahu is not much different than Trump. He doesn't care about social outrage, he doesn't care about displacing immigrants or those different from him. He wants to demolish, similar to Putin in Ukraine.

I have no idea how it will work, or if it will work. I'm anti-war and anti US supporting wars. If Trump can turn off the spigot to Ukraine and the US MIC while ending the Russian aggression, that would be a win for me. I really don't care about restoring anything in Ukraine.
Israel is a different dynamic, but my overall stance is the same. Whatever needs to be done to stop war and US spending on wars. Bibi is very different from Trump. Bibi is a warmonger of the worst kind.

You can agree with me. But Trump's promises to end it before inauguration is pure horseshit. He doesn't even have the authority to do this. It's why he is a shitty president. He throws out bizarre and moronic claims and then moves onto the next bizarre and moronic claim.
Finance, I am willing to talk and debate with the other side, unless it goes too far and there really is no debate occurring just insults. In this case fine I can understand completely cutting back on supporting any wars, if thats the case we better stop supporting Ukraine, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Let them burn, they are not our problem. If that is your base case, I can understand it. I don't agree with it but I understand it. There will be far reaching consequences if we suddenly step back. We claim Trump will figure all this out by being strong, while at the same time not getting involved with anything. If that is the case why will anyone take Trumps threats seriously? They will say he doesn't want to get involved we have free reign.
Trump is a populist. He doesn’t care if we get into a war. He’s certainly not going to deescalate the situation with Iran.
His only real card on all these fronts is to take away foreign aid. That's a pretty weak card.

I was clear he said not day 1 after the election. Personally I think we should give him some grace and check in on this 1 day after the inauguration. I’m sure it will all be settled then.
Trump said he would end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours with a phone call. The only possible way this could happen is if Zelinskyy would agree to cede the territory Russia has already taken. This isn't going to happen. Putin is thrilled with Trump's win and now knows he has a realistic chance to raise the Russian flag over Kiev.

though just for clarity, i have this vague recollection that a person who is not a USG official may act at their peril if they purport to be engaged in foreign policy with foreign governments.
in other words, simply stated, let's not go too far into the silly season of suggesting that president elects can actually do too much of anything before they become presidents.
