Trump will make some debate demands, Biden's camp will decline the ridiculous demands, Trump will say no debates without and that the Biden camp is backing out for not fulfilling the demands. The Biden camp will say the demands are ridiculous and that Trump is backing out of the debate by having outlandish demands.

I was thinking something along these lines. And Biden will need to have a cut off on Trump's mic if he can't control himself on interruptions as well as sticking to the truth / question.
The debate will happen in carefully worded tweets by the DNC on Bidens twitter. This will cause Trump to put together a rambling truth on truth Social. This will happen multiple times and all the olds will debate over it on Facebook. #Politics2024

Trump refused to participate in the GOP primary debates for the same reason that Biden refused to debate RFK Jr - their nominations were a foregone conclusion and there was absolutely nothing to gain by debating longshot candidates.

Weird thing is Trump could agree to any and all terms from Biden's side and potentially win a debate by talking as little as possible and letting Biden inevitably stumble physically and mentally.

Sitting presidents don't typically do debates. I can't remember one doing them...even Carter didn't debate Kennedy in that contested primary season.

Lying Donnie Sexual Abuser chickened out of the Republican debates because he has no policy position on anything, no grasp of the issues that go into actual governing. He just tries to bluster his way through things without calling one country another name or forgetting who his wife (supposedly) is, or was. The other Republican candidates would have torn him up. He's going to carry that same too scared strategy into the general election. Tough to manage any real debating when you're still trying to sell the age old Big Lie lie, defend being impeached twice, facing 91 felony charges, having nearly a half billion dollars in fines, and waiting on his next three trials. Trump already crushed Haley in her own state by 20 points. He would have nothing to gain by debating. Now that the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 (as we all knew they would) that States can't keep Trump off the ballot, he's going to walk to the nomination.
