I get that Iowa is no hot bed of recruiting talent but when I look at what our holes are on offense I can't help but wonder what things would look like if we had Darboh and Lazard out wide with Pierschbacher at LT.

Unfortunately I agree somewhat that Iowa should have done better with these kids. At the same time to expect everyone that is a blue chip recruit in Iowa to go to Iowa is a bit crazy. That said this staff struggles at recruiting even regionally when compared to Wisconsin and MSU who also thrive at turning 2 and 3 star recruits into studs. If Iowa is ever to put a string of great seasons together they need to improve at recruiting and it would be nice to start winning more of those battles in state. KF gets a lot of praise for the development of players thing but it seems for every team we beat that has more talent he still losses to teams with lesser talent.

Lazard was the only in-state battle Iowa lost. And he's a ISU legacy.
