Hopefully that serves as off-season fuel for some of you softies who are severely out of tailgating form.

No honestly looking at their depth chart they look a little younger than I thought. I’m hoping we can take advantage of some of their younger players lack of experience — while at the same time hoping our LB are ready for that game.

I'm not worried about out LBers in that game, nor the RBs or QB or WRs or any position group. Iowa has always had the players to win 90% of their games. It's the coaches I'm worried about. Specifically a tiny subgroup of coaches.

I’m more worried about a subgroup of our fan base......the unintelligent vocal minority subgroup

F*** that game..........and f*** Wisconsin.

There I said it.

Iowa has always had the players to win 90% of their games? Lol. Let me guess you were never one of those fans who bitched about Iowa landing mostly MAC-level recruits for a number of years. Good gawd, dude, you have to be on one hell of an acid trip to believe what you just wrote.

I personally agree Iowa has been a little too one-dimensional on offense in some games, particularly on the road. I was never a fan of Greg Davis (we'll see about Brian). With that said, I got news for you: The reason so many Ball State level recruits (like Josey Jewell and Josh Jackson) have developed into NFL Draft picks and have won almost 30 games in 3 seasons is not because of their superior talent. Pssst--That's called coaching.

It wasn't quite as bad as the score at Minnesota in 2014 for Iowa.

They rebounded in 2015.

Time will tell for Iowa in 2018. Wisconsin is clearly better than Minnesota, having rung up a 14 game win streak in that series.

We shall see Week 4 in Kinnick. It has been 10 years, since last win at home.

In other words you believe Iowa’s recruiting talent is only topped by 1 maybe 2 teams on its schedule every year?

Yeah, the goofy thing in this series as of late is up until last year the home team hadn't won much.

Last season I finally gave up on the 'we should be as good as Wisconsin' hope. They've stepped to the next level, Iowa hasn't.

Just read an article from land of 10. In the last 2 years Iowa has 3 yards TOTAL on 3rd down. No two ways around that one, that is the offense getting $hit kicked.

Correct.

Not a good day for NS4. But that’s sports. And football.

Unfortunately there is a longer trend than just NS4 or even BF. They have won 5 of the last 6? As a previous poster has mentioned their AD decided to take the next step, Iowa has not. Before anyone starts talking about low population it gets cold as $hit in Madison. It isnt the weather or the beaches or in state population it was an investment in winning.

As a follow up to this the fact that as of 2:00 PM CST 5/14/2018 this lady

Has a job is laughable.

I'll give you that. But NS4 had one bad day too.

I'd go so far as to say a choke day. And I don't like using that word.

I have no reason for optimism against Wisconsin. Iowa has lost some great players and BF still hasn't shown any ability to have a good offense. Sure would love to eat my words.

Against Ohio state, Iowa state and Nebraska the offense looked good.. Ohio state the defense picked off Barrett 4 times, isu doesn’t know defense, and Nebraska sucks right now
