They have four guys that can shoot the three and two are very accurate (Hepburn and Essegian). Thye still like to go one on one underneath with Wahl and Crowl. Play physical defense and share the ball as usual. Disciplined and play a bit dirty as usual. Just my observations from four/five games. It will be a very tough game IMO to win.

Pretty typical Wisconsin team.

Who is going to guard Tyler Wahl? Especially at the end of close games, Wisconsin becomes very intentional about getting the ball to Wahl. I think Iowa needs to match that intentionality by making sure Connor or Tony is on Wahl as much as possible.

It might have to be Tony, as Wahl is just as crafty as Conner, and also a bigger/better athlete. We'll see if Connor is able to be effective.

Hawks might have to get some mileage out of the zone and the press tonight.

Huge game. Hopefully the Hawks can come together again and hold on their home court

Essegian is a really good freshman who can shoot, but is not only a shooter. Way better than recruiting rank would have suggested.

Pretty likely Connor will draw Wahl, who concerns me most with Kris out. He is not as big as they list him, but still has a couple of inches on Connor. Wahl would score at will against Patrick or Sandfort, so let's hope Connor can limit him.

I think the team that wins the boards is most likely to win. Hawks need to control the defensive boards by having guards help. They did it very well against the Clones.
