I am not trying to take their wind out of their sail but I am still not convinced that they will win the west, better yet beat Iowa, UM, O$U... even though they had 2 very impressive wins (not trying to compare scores either) BUT.. MSU's wins over Oregon and Notre Dame are a tad lackluster.. or tarninshed. Looking at those teams as well LSD.. and how they've faired against others kinda takes the shine off or at least dulling..

MSU.. is highly overrated.. and I wouldn't be shocked if UM stomps the Badgers this weekend. .. but crazier things have happened, who knows I guess that's why they play it on the field.

My question is to others is how Wisconsin will fair through this 3 game death row games?

I say they go 0-3 Not a betting man but it's a hunch they take a huge step back these next 3 weeks

I think they lose at least 3 games in conference play. that won't win the West. Nebraska is the favorite in my opinion. I think they lose 2 games and win it. I think Iowa ends with 3 conference losses and tied with Wisconsin.

FWIW MSU played Oregon last year. MSU has beaten Furman (by 15) and Notre Dame (by 8).

Massey Ranking Composite of 76 computer rankings has Wisconsin as the 10th best team in the country.

They could, of course, stumble over the next three games, but I'm done doubting them.

Iowa has many more question marks than Wisconsin.

These big games take their toll. Wiscy has lost a LBer and Safety for the season. All teams have attrition, how deep each team is will be the difference. Hawks losing VDB is a huge hit. Nebraska has stayed pretty healthy so far.

A lot of football to be played, will be interesting.

I believe they are the best in the west as it sits right now...but I am not sold on them winning the west looking at the remaining schedules today.

Whomever might be 6-1 heading into the final week between Iowa, Minnesota (most likely imho), Nebraska and Wisconsin might be your winner. But it very well might be all four being 5-2 to 4-3 if Minnesota doesn't stub their toes.

If Minnesota's defense steps up, they might have the inside track here.

Health will be a key for the badgers. A couple of starters that go down at the same position and it could cost them a game or two. Same with most teams outside of Michigan and OSU.
