The former B1G West was the most overrated Division in CF over the last 10 to 12 years. They never won a B1G championship game and most were blowouts. This is what happens when teams like Wisconsin plays the top teams in the country
Probably true. I think Bama takes a step back overall but they're still good, no doubt. Depends on if Deboer can recruit and compete at the level of the SEC. Different world when compared to the PAC-12.

why so much urgency to score by alabama? just scored another td with long bomb. what happened to run the ball milk clock go home with a 3 score win.
They're making that push for style points I suspect. Also, definitely not going to hold back against a B1G team nor would I expect/want them to.
Yeah their defense has most definitely taken a step back. I see cracks and missed assignments in the secondary that Saban would lose it over. You can’t lose the GOAT college football coach and get better.
They will still be good, just not as dominant.
SEC football on an entirely different level than most teams in the B1G not named tOSU. Maybe include Oregon, USC, PSU, and Michigan to be able to compete on a given year but not every single season like they play.
Iowa and Wisky get hammered playing the likes of Bama on a regular basis. These two teams need to step up big time in talent and style of play. The score right before half by Bama was a no fear type score that west teams wouldn’t even think about or attempt. Hopefully it forces our teams to be more competitive and play to win by doing what needs to be done and that’s keep the foot on the gas peddle. I’d rather see Iowa go for it and have to punt than run it three straight times up the gut only to have to punt it as well. One, it’s boring as all get out and two, why not try to score and go up by three scores instead of two?
This guy can coach. And there’s no reason to doubt that he can recruit at Bama. He plays an exciting brand of football just like he did at Washington. And he plays in the best conference in the country. We need Oregon and USC to get good to help this conference. Michigan without Harbaugh is a shell of itself. Hiring the coordinator at a program like Michigan was a terrible move.
