Agree. They were a disaster in the non-con and always benefit from B1G holding, grabbing, flops and lower body contact. Tough to beat at home even if they start 5 walkons. I think this is likely a first round exit team that might struggle to score 50 points in the opening round BUT it does depend on seeding.

Who would you rather have Fran or Greg Gard. There is no question Gard is one of the top coaches in the league. He has made the NCAA's in 3 out of 4 years. this year will make 4 out of 5. Not too bad. He has 2 sweet 16's. and a .630 win pct.
Homer pick here, but I would have to take Fran. Next years recruits might be the turning point as Gard does some magical things to get guys to come to Madison but give me Fran over Gard.

illanoy has it pretty good for their next 3. nebby at home, at jnw and indy at home. They get those 3 and they're sitting at 12-6.
Hawks will be in a slugfest trying to get that #4 spot for the double bye in the BTT.
Wisconsin will be ahead if IA in the final standings, as much as it pains me to say it. At this point, it's just a law of the universe that WI finishes ahead of Iowa in b ball and football.
WIsky has a good shot at one of the Top 4 seeds, for sure. So does Iowa, MSU, Penn State & Illinois. Let's see how it plays out. 4 weeks ago Wisky fans wanted Gard gone and now, you guys say "Look out for Wisky, here we are again". Rivalries make sports interesting and fun to me. As elaberate and intense as they can get, I don't despise anyone. The B1G has a large number of outstanding universities with excellent academics, clean athletic departments and good student athletes. Iowa and Wisconsin are two of these schools. Can't we have civil conversations?
And you only play the top teams once. Buckets record should have an asterisk next to it.
