Wisky vs Purdue

Guard the perimeter, keep Wisconsin from open 3's and you limit there offensive to being 1 dimensional....Purdue is playing inspired basketball and completely throttling Wisconsin's offensive right now.....fun to watch:)

On a side note, does Purdue hold the record for players that look like there playing in their 40's??
BYU has Ron Howard playing for them.

It's in our house, not Madison, we have the best player in the league that the Badgers have to deal with along with Luka's supporting cast, we might not boatrace them like Purdue just did but I'm pretty confident that in the end, Iowa will prevail with a quality win....

Just like football, Wisconsin and Iowa are developmental programs. They just haven't had that big spike from one of their players like they had with Kaminsky and we're having with Luka. The biggest leaps have been from King/Reuvers and even then it's not as much of a leap as some could have hoped for.

It's a good time to point out that every player under Gard that has made one of the three all big ten teams was recruited during Bo's time.

Wisconsin dropped from 18 to 31 in Kenpom after that single game. Not sure I’ve seen a movement that big in late January before!

Sounds like a bad game plan. We'll fall back into a zone defense and they'll have a guy in the corner open all night long??

Always glad to see Wisky lose even to our hated rival Purdue. Don't get me wrong they are still a good program and can make the tourney most years but it is clear they aren't on the level of the Bo Ryan era anymore where they were top 4-5 in conference every year. Their fans still holding onto the pipe dream that Gard is just as good as Bo Ryan. Also Brad Davison has the most punchable face in all of college bball. That is all.

I expect someone like Pritzl to show up red hot and triple his average.
Oh yeah, since they could not hit anything against Purdue. They will be on fire against the Hawks unless we play really in your face defense and force them to shoot off the dribble.

They hit threes late because by slowing the game, they are not worn out. Run the hell out of them and make those late threes come up short.

Bucky is not great this year. If the officiating isn't one sided Garzilla will draw many fouls-Bucky isn't tough.

They will have someone complete unknown go 5-5 from 3 or something like that. Its the curse.

I guess I'm paranoid. I thought that Koenig and Hayes would stay at Wisky until they got their Doctorate. Glad those two are history! We should put Joe T on Trice. He scored 20 against us at Carver last year. I'd go with CJ or Connor on Davison. Also Flop Alert!

WI will bounce back to their record setting 3 point shooting. I do think Iowa is tough enough to pull out a hard fought win. If Joe T takes care of the ball pencil in a W.

Ohio State takes the cake for the guys rediscovering eligibility in their 40s, under an alias. I mean, Granville Waiters....kid was as bald as I am now. That Steve Oden (I think) guy was another 7 footer that looked mid 30s.
