Perhaps only interesting to me, but after a foul at the 4:20 mark there wasn’t another dead ball in the game. Iowa got the ball back at 30.8 seconds left, shot clock still running.
If we take a shot clock violation, a media timeout would have occurred with 0.8 seconds left in a 50 point game.
It looked like the ref told Ash he needed to shoot to avoid this. Ash launched a rainbow with no chance of going in to exhaust the clock. Spared us all.
