Scientific Research Confirms That Women Lie About Their Sexual History

In a study at Ohio State University, researchers used a lie detector to determine if it would influence responses to different types of behaviors. The respondents were heterosexual college students in the Midwest, aged 18-25.

Women not connected to a machine gave these answers:

Age at first intercourse: 16.36
Number of sexual partners: 2.70
Number of one-time sexual partners: 0.82
Women connected to a lie detector gave these answers:

Age at first intercourse: 16.15
Number of sexual partners: 3.35
Number of one-time sexual partners: 1.01

I haven't been with a woman who has not lied in some way about their sexual history. Not sure why they do it.

The average Midwestern college student has only had one 1 night stand? WTF is going on with you Midwesterners?

On another note, my daughter (no pics) is turning 16 on Monday. I think I'll go home and clean my guns.

Any who were with black men lied, except one. Numbers were skewed at times, but not a lot. Some would lie about having relations with other women too.

I agree, I call BS on that one. Girls hate admitting one night stands.

Not sure to be honest, but they were always shady about that. It always was found when they would accidentally mention a name, or my favorite, we'd run into a former partner at a mall or something. I'd ask, who's that? Then they'd respond in a way you could tell they were hiding something. I've told girls that, I'm not against stuff like that, and its more of a turn on to lie about something than lie about it.

I idolize Madison Ivy for yodas sake, I don't give a goddamn who a girl has been with. Just be honest about it.

Why do you feel they should be honest about it? How is it really your business who your partner has been with before they were with you? If you want to address STD's, go to the clinic and address that issue directly. Otherwise its just rude to kiss and tell and even more so to ask about it.

Well if the convo comes up, ESPECIALLY if they made a point to bring it up, then be honest. Simple as that. I don't judge, I just don't like lying fiends. Just fiends.

Seriously though the taboo part of it is probably why they lie. The only thing a girl will lie more about is multiple partners at once, whether girls, guys or both.
 
Did this research cover their girl on girl action? I know some girls from Iowa who had girlfriends who became good Midwestern soccer mom types once they had their kids.

Ahh- we have hit on an interesting point.

Many men are very touchy about a woman being with a lot of men. Not all guys, but it is more than surprising how many men have an issue if they know there girl has run loose and fast. Women know that many men are insecure about who has had THEIR woman. They learn early on that there are certain do's and dont's in the maintenance of a man.

This is a true concept in many areas of social interaction. Honesty and transparency get far too much praise in our society. People should value the skill of holding one's opinion while avoiding the awkward silence a bit more. That's how I see it anyway.

largely agree. yet the whole issue of monogamy and its importance is inherently tricky and for some, very difficult to practice. Keeping the peace while acting dishonestly, all under the guise of a monogamous relationship is where rational people break down.

Some people are totally fine with their partners having other partners. Most people who are married, get married to be monogamous. If a man and woman marry and they think one thing about their partner's level of instinctive promiscuity only to find out later said partner had slept with the entire town, this can cause some serious issues. I think more so for the guy.

This is a bit different point than I thought we were discussing. I thought we were discussing a current partner's right to know about their partner's past sexual experiences, not their right to know about ongoing sexual relationships they are having while with the current partner. If two people have an agreement to be monogamous, its seems both would have a right to be sure the other party is holding to that agreement. They probably also have a right to ask if the other party has ever cheated and broken a similar agreement. Its less clear why they should expect to know how many times their partner has ever made a sexual agreement and the terms of that agreement with others who are out of the picture now.

Men like girls who have little experience because it puts the pressure on them to perform. Plus no man wants to know that somebody threw around his old lady better than he did. It's better to just enjoy your serving of the tang than worry about such things. Treat the tang as well as you can, and you won't need to worry.

There seems to be some disagreement. Some of your brothers claim you treat the tang as poorly as you can and you won't have to worry.

Speaking of this theory, have you seen the movie Dangerous Liaisons? It deals with your point of view to great effect.

The solution is to know there are millions of tangs in the world and not to commit to just one because nobody can ever control it.

That was in my other post today. Maybe both of them. I spent all morning on that blog that purports to represent masculine hetero values. Over and over again the message was women are here to amuse and not to be taken seriously. That really sounds like a viewpoint more in line with my people to be honest. I was very amused.
