Iowa will get there this year

They could. Quite a bit of talent has left the roster the past 3 years. Czinano is a really good player to build around. If Clark is great immediately (and she might be), Iowa is a Top 25 team with expected incremental improvement from Warnock, Martin, Sevillian and others.

Iowa will be good, but it's a question as to if they will take step down from last season. Last year the team barely took a step down from their Elite 8 season because Monika was 1st team all Big Ten taking over where Megan left off. Doyle's play improved and the offense ran similarly to the year prior. The roles will be fairly similar with Clark filling Doyle's role this year. I expect Monika to play better defense, Goodman to add post depth, and Warnock to be a stud.
