I was given word about an hour ago that accounts, etc. needed to be disabled. I wasn't given a name, at the time, but given conversations with another co-worker I had suspicions. Suspicions confirmed. Personally, I feel bad. Professionally though, it was probably the correct move.

Nice enough guy. Not overly respected as a manager. He made a lot of knee jerk decisions without knowing the processes, etc.

That is a tough age to get fired. Will be hard to replace his income, etc... At least the job market is good right now.
