It's all fun and games until something goes wrong. My brother was part of a wedding party that visited Victoria Falls several years back. They were on the historic train ride when there was an accident. Several in the party were injured an one died from the injuries. Medical facilities are not the same in some of those countries. He had to fly to South Africa to get his injuries examined and then flew home for surgery.
So...YOLO at your own risk.

A good decision tree I use is: would my dog do this? If not, I weigh the incremental reward versus the incremental risk and go from there.
