Jeremiah Smith was known in HS and at that point already forecast as a future #1 pick in most any NFL Draft . Not exactly a fair comparion to other WRs out there . He has Randy Moss type talentHow do you know they aren't? Nobody's anybody til there somebody.
Antonio Brown also 5’10Some of you morons worried about his height.
Probably the most dynamic football player to ever play the game is 5'10".
Yup. My only concern is what if the guy doing WR evaluations isn't Lester. What if the guy doing WR evaluations is our wide receiver coach, aka The Gift?Similarly to the QB room, our WR room has been a wasteland and I’d rather trust Lester’s evaluation than BF’s. Gill has been really the only true addition made by Lester to that room at this point and he was WR1 last year. Give Lester the keys and get who likes and can afford.
He’s a fast and twitchy WR which is what we need. We have tall WRs already

Nope, the Gift is now bestowed on Lester.....no longer Bud...Yup. My only concern is what if the guy doing WR evaluations isn't Lester. What if the guy doing WR evaluations is our wide receiver coach, aka The Gift?
Lester has final say before Kirk on offensive personelThatd be badddd
Correct, if Lester can drive the recruiting to getting WRs that first can get open better, even by another couple of feet, and then second they can make a move to get more yards, and third have good enough speed to get open deep or turn short passes into big gains then that is all that needs to be done.Similarly to the QB room, our WR room has been a wasteland and I’d rather trust Lester’s evaluation than BF’s. You guys naming HOF players like this kid from Chattanooga is on the same level. Either you are dumb or great acting like it.Steve Smith was 5'9
I think you are missing the point. Let’s just let the kid get on campus and see if he can help out at a position that we desperately need. He seems to have a lot of potential and height isn’t everything. You guys naming HOF players like this kid from Chattanooga is on the same level. Either you are dumb or great acting like it.
I gurantee if i pull the average height for the top 10 WRs this year they are above 5'9"
Get a couple of #2 WRs from the final 4 would be okay.WRs just had to see a QB who can sling it , Wait for the 4 playoff Teams to get done playing, more portal additions then too probably
No one said he is anywhere nearly as good as any of those players. He is not.You guys naming HOF players like this kid from Chattanooga is on the same level. Either you are dumb or great acting like it.

Signed: Tim DwightSeems short for a wide receiver,.. maybe he plays with a chip on his shoulder.

That name i threw out, remember where he went to college? Where he got drafted? Central Michigan, 6th round. Obviously nobody saw that kind of success coming. You guys naming HOF players like this kid from Chattanooga is on the same level. Either you are dumb or great acting like it.

Kenny Shedd was 5'10" Dedric Ward was 5'9"Sorry, cannot remember his name but a WR from Davenport West played at UNI and then later for the Oakland Raiders and he was 5'6" as I recall. Evidently he wasn't tall enough to play for the Hawks back in the Fry days.
Apparently Wetjen struggled with route running. So there’s that.Kaden Wetjen is 5'10" and we can't get him the ball on offense. 5'9" is....I'll stop there.
On the field, Jacob Gill looked like he hadn't hit puberty yet and he's listed at 6'

Wetjen was open a ton in His reps against Mizzou, Sulli either was running for His life or missed Him, Gronowski won'tApparently Wetjen struggled with route running. So there’s that.
girth > lengthWe need a Greg Bruner height check here..
We had guys open all game.Wetjen was open a ton in His reps against Mizzou, Sulli either was running for His life or missed Him, Gronowski won't
He would be a fantastic slot for Iowa
There sure are a lot of schools recruiting this scrubby leftover.God Damn....we sure are great at getting the scrubby leftovers. Christ...here we go again...another WR that will come in with no big conference talent and contribute nothing. Yawn. This football program is in big trouble.
Yeah I’m actually not too worried about our WRs. I think RVZ, Buie, and Howard all will take a big step next year.We had guys open all game.
Just lack of reps and timing for sully.
We’ll get there.

Good grief man, a lot of good players at the FCS move up and are successful at the FBS level, I mean look what Indiana did this year with a bunch of guys from an FCS school.God Damn....we sure are great at getting the scrubby leftovers. Christ...here we go again...another WR that will come in with no big conference talent and contribute nothing. Yawn. This football program is in big trouble.
Same height as Tim Dwight.Seems short for a wide receiver,.. maybe he plays with a chip on his shoulder.
