Wrestlers at NOC

IMHO Gfellar runs through Hernandez. Gfellar is a lot better than he looked at WNO. Kaden is going to bug the sh*t out of us for years when he's a cowpoke.

There's a strong chance of that. Gfellar has a very strong offensive game. Hernandez sometimes takes a while to get going. If he does this with Kaden, he could be in a hole in a hurry. If he is in a position where he has to force his offense, that plays into Kadens crazy funk game. He showed this at WNO, but Verkleeren was just too damn strong. Hernandez doesn't have that kind of man strength.

Iowa is recruiting Aaron Costello who has #13 Sammy Evans.

There is also some early mutual interest with Michael Millage who has JRent

Wish Iowa public television was strong enough to cover. Flo's my only way. Flo ftw

Hernandez v GFeller looks to be much more competitive than I thought it would be. Hernandez with the first takedown. Gfeller with an escape. 2-1 after 1. Gfeller with a quick escape 2-2 early in the 2nd.

Hernandez with some stingy D. Scramble situation off of Gfeller's attack is stalemated. Period 3 starts still knotted at 2. Herhandez one escape. Kaden attacks, scramble situation. Stalemate again. 3-2 Hernandez.

This OH kid the one that called out Gable Steveson on Flo's Twitter?

Can this end in a double loss?

Awesome production! Kudos IAWrestle. Only thing I'd change would be the music playing, if possible. Heard Fergalcious 1 too many times to think I was at a wrestling event. Everything else has been top-notch!

Schultz is from CO but yea, he's the kid that bit off more than he could chew with Gable.

Didn't see that. Don't mind kids talking a bit but you have to be able to climb hills before you hit the mountain. Good showing for the OPRF kids. JRent has added some stuff to his game...looking good.

Also, not a bad showing by the Iowa kids as well.

This...he walks around above 140

I didn't see much of the match and I'm not the wresting experts many of you guys are but I have to think if he were an Iowa commit and giving up multiple TDs to a kid a year younger and what looked like 10 lbs lighter there would be some naysayers on here.

That match wasn't even close. Jrent gave up 2 tds if I recall. First one was slip by J, second one was a junk td at the end. All other pts scored were escapes which Jrent let him up. No worries about that kid. He's a big hammer

That and he kept on attacking the whole way through. IIRC, looked like he was going big when he gave up the second TD. So yea, not even close. Millage might not be elite but he's a decent wrestler. JRent is attacking more this year...same thing in his match with Brian Courtney. Lost it at the end in a scramble.

So yea...let's not minimize the kid because he's not going to Iowa.

Absolutely chief!! Plus, I like how he carries himself on the mat.....always taking space forward and backing into opponents when need be. Hope does well in college

We're going to really regret not getting Renteria I think. I don't know how tall he is, but he looks like he could go 141.

None of the OPRF boys cut hard to make weight yesterday. They aren't big for their weight FWIW.

I thought it was Campbell (the Ohio kid) that called Gable out on Twitter. I know Schultz and Gable wrestled at UWW Cadets (with Gable obviously winning), but I think it was after FloNats that Campbell went out on Twitter and said he wanted a piece of Steveson.

My comment was about our fans, expectations and comments than about the kid.
