I considered Wyatt a friend. This saddens me deeply.

Wyatt and his wife Kirsten are close friends, who we have spent many wrestling trips together! He will be missed by many!

Wyatt and I went to high school together and we have stayed in touch over the years. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was just a great guy to be around. I will miss him greatly. By the way, we just celebrated our 50th high school reunion (in Postville) so he was 67 - 68 years old. He was a great athlete - wrestling and football, but wrestling was certainly his true passion.

Been reading the Predicament since I was a kid (yeah a long time ago). Enjoyed listening to Wyatt's spot on KGYM in Cedar Rapids. A true supporter of the sport of wrestling. He will be missed in these parts. I think that EVERY tournament in Iowa, on the first Saturday in December, should have a moment of silence in honor of Wyatt Schultz.
