Shouldn't matter in the big scheme of things. But it would have put runners on 2nd and 3rd and you can't tell me that doesn't mess with a pitcher's mind as well as where you playing your infielders.
True. Also looked like Cabrera was gonna try to score & he would have been out. But seemed pretty clear that was a fair ball.
I had an offer to attend the game in KC tonight. Couldn't justify to myself the money to spend. That is why I have the 70 inch tv.

There was an ump 25 feet away that got the call right. No need to even review it.

The one on his head. No video showed anything close to it being an incorrect call. All the videos were pretty inconclusive.
It touched the line. It was obvious. Like I said, NY fans can't bitch about that if they lose. Play better.

But the part of the ball that impacts the field is on the bottom, not on the edge. The bottom of the ball clearly landed in green turf outside the line. Had the ball landed so "half" of it was on the edge of the line, that is clearly touching the line. Past that, not so much
Far and away the least favorite of teams I have cheered for in my life. NFL, college and NBA are more important to me. That being said.....2-1. Yankees will finish them.
