Yellowstone news: Taylor Sheridan is suing Cole Hauser

Don't have a dog in this fight but I'd say Taylor is probably going to prevail in this case.

Yellowstone has been imploding for at least a couple of seasons. 1883 and 1923 were mostly pretty good. The part where James Bond kept torturing the prostitutes seemed kind of excessive and unnecessary, but otherwise it was a decent series. But Yellowstone is just bloated and self-indulgent and wildly unrealistic.

The show has made heroes our of narcissistic criminals, but other than that, I enjoyed the first couple of years. Then it began to get tedious.
Yes, tedious. How many times can the good guys kill without any repercussions, followed by the blond giving several longwinded speeches how she is smarter than everyone else.

I liked the parts about the fellas (and ladies) in the bunkhouse and their hijinks.

Yellowstone already collapsed. Taylor has way too many shows going on. Also petty to go after one of Yellowstones biggest stars since the show really made him.
This ^

Taylor has become a little too full of himself. He better get what he can now because he's burning major bridges with the talent and power brokers. Will some people still work with him? Of course. A lot of people in the industry have fallen hard though.

Edit: There is really no mistaking the two logos.

Regardless of if they win or not . . . this seems rather excessive.

Bosque Ranch’s lawsuit demands a jury trial and argues that it’s entitled to all of Free Rein Coffee’s profits, damage compensation, prejudgement interest and legal fee coverage.

All of their profits? Come on man.

Taylor Sheridan is a hack. The western is one of the great genres in American lit. Larry McMurtry, AB Guthrie, Jack Shaefer, etc. are some of the finest American writers.

Hostiles was one of the best films of the last ten years. Kevin Costner directed Dances with Wolves.

Yellowstone is a telenovela. A straight up cash grab.

Hostiles was amazing. One of my favorite movies but I’ve yet to run into anyone who has seen it.

Agree, every Sheridan show is just Sons Of Anarchy in a different setting. He owes his life to Kurt Sutter.

Everytime I've seen him speak, he certainly comes off as smug jackass

Having got drug into watching against my will because the wife randomly turns them on....

Yellowstone - Complete trash from the 1st scene and bmnever got better, my wife agrees.

1883 - Complete trash from the 1st scene and never got better. Wife disagrees, likes the show

1923 - Only redeeming character is Spencer Dutton. Rest of it is trash, shockingly including Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren's characters. Wife loves the show and is, by far, her favorite of the 3.

For those keeping score, the Yellowstone universe would better far better off if everyone but Spencer and his hot wife died of a terrible disease and quit interacting with the rest of the people in that universe.

Suing neighbors, business partners, family members etc. is all part of the Texas mega-ranch business model. Make friendly and practical business agreements, write it up in vague contracts, then when the timing is right, make the argument the vague contract isn’t being followed to either extort money or sue.

Sheridan is likely just trying to build his rancher cred more than anything.
