Look at the top of the thread. Just under the thread title, there is a "Tags", which the OP as tagged this thread with "trad sucks".

And, you can now use tags in the search function so in theory, you can search for 'trad sucks' ... haven't tried it yet...

But, this does explain why the search feature is no longer going back further than like Thursday.
