…I would think killing off Ironman, Captain America and emasculating Hulk in favor of having the Falcon guy hold down the Marvel fort, is not the smartest way forward.

I think RDJ and Chris Evans were tired of playing those characters. Without those actors, those characters weren't going to live on.
I think there's this in- between time where they'll roll with Falcon, Spiderman, and Dr Stange until they figure out how to reboot x-men and fantastic four.
I just hope we can be done with all the multi-verse crap.
