I just hope they can throw strikes consistently. Nothing worse than watching the "talented" guys that scouts drool over throw 100 pitches in less than four innings with 8 Ks and 8 walks. Really doesn't help the team much. Brecht and Morgan got quite a bit better at that as last year progressed, so hopefully Cade can make that same jump this year.

Cade Obermueller got the start Saturday, March 9th in Iowa's 20-1 win at Jacksonville State.
Cade started the bottom of the 6th inning with Iowa leading 11-0. Cade gave up a single, struck out the next batter and then gave up a double (the 2nd out of the inning came when the runner was thrown out at home). The bullpen then came in with 2 outs, put out the fire, and registered the final out, not allowing any runs to score in the bottom of the 6th.
