Kemerer beat Hidlay at Powerade and State. Manville is the returning Junior Fargo champ, and was a Cadet World champ.

FWIW, I think Manville is the returning Junior Fargo Freestyle champ and was a Cadet World champ in freestyle as well. He was also the US representavive in greco but didn't medal.

Hawks I see entered are Meyer (145), Shaw (152), Moody (170), and Wilcke (195).

Of interest: Happel at 138.

FYI, I also see a Klapprodt at 160 and a Paddock at 182.

152 is the toughest weight: Manville, Early, Hidlay and Parriott.

Happel vs Boo Lewallen next rd. 138 is murder. Robert Lee from Wisconsin got taken out first round.

Looks like they did Iowa no favors...Fredy on the same side as Max Thomsen for potential semi's. Aaron Meyer and Thomsen could meet early.

Hey Dice, how can anyone not like Manville...headwrap and all. BTW, he had an Iowa like reaction when he lost in the Greco finals...Cael is gonna have to put him through an anger management course ;)

Meyer's still a little small for 145, especially after making 138 for Greco.

Tristan Johnson (?) over Johnny Blankenship from Missouri...think he won Cadets last year

It won't even be close, Lewallen all the way! Destroyed everybody at National Duals. Could be the steal of last season recruiting class for OSU. He should RS next season but should something happen at133/141 look out for Boo.

Lewallen did beat Happel by TF at Junior Duals. But the rest of this statement is pure Tognetti. He is an excellent (no make that Awesome) freestyler. But in folk, he lost this past season to Jake Montes (he's from PA, so I'm very familiar with him). He's going to have to progress an AWFUL LOT to make headway this year as a frosh in D1.

Oklahoma is doing a great job in the international styles as usual. They must have some really good people in charge in their state. If OK State could just convince the NCAA to switch to freestyle, imagine how insufferable Mike would be!

He's already a stone in the shoe.

All OPRF semi at 120...Renteria vs Madrigal.
