Oh boy. Kris made a defensive mistake and Houston hits a 3 with .6 to win. Looked like a very unathletic play by Kris but I am assuming he thought he had help.

I assumed they would hit a 3 to win after the boneheaded failed ally oop. Just summer league.

Wow; Portland with a 2 point lead and the ball should have just run out the clock but instead they go for a lob/dunk. That fails and Houston rebounds and calls time out.

Kris is definitely not ready to stand in the corner and shoot wide open 3s in the nba.

He should of come back to Iowa to work on his ballhandling so that he would be better prepared to stand in the corner and not handle the ball.

Portlands offense will most likely largely be Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe jacking up 50 shots a game, just like Lillard and McCollom have done for years. He will really need to become better and more aggressive rebounding and on the defensive end if he is going to play. Tough to rebound though when you are told to just go stand in the corner and get out of the way.

Hard to read much into Summer league games. Will say watching what a year of starting for Keegan has done for his game vs Kris definitely looking like he's played 2 games. And while Scoot is definitely the future the team will look much different once the regular season starts. They're going to get 2 starters for him plus probably 3 1st round picks. Kris will probably have a role similar to Keegan I'd guess next year, play solid defense, hit the occasional 3. And yes, Portland is going to struggle in the near future. Tough to win w/all young guys.

Until he does gain enough weight and increases his strength, he will get pushed around. Down the road, he could become a player similar to KD. He has been compared to KD in stature and style of play.
