If they had stayed in school, Keegan and Kris would have been seniors this year and without a doubt would have led Iowa to a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! ;)

Interesting to think about what our rotation might have been:

Perkins/Harding/Dix
Dix/Payton/Perkins
Keegan/PMac/Payton
Kris/Keegan/Krikke
Freeman/Kris/Dembele

A fun puzzle, unlike now without the Murray’s

Kris really lucked into going to a bad team. The opportunity to start as many games as he has in amazing. I don’t think he will ever be a big scorer but he has proven the ability to guard multiple positions, and fairly well, and do little things like grab rebounds, and land a few blocks/steals/assists. His shooting will have to improve but should at least be a high quality reserve in the long run, maybe a starter.

Yeah, that is a problem when the ability to shoot the 3 was the main reason he was a first round pick. I hope Kris can get that up to 35% + next season.
There are probably more than 100 NBA players shooting over 35%+ 3PT FGAs. Last time I looked (it’s been awhile) you start to see separation around 38%-39%+. IIRC Kris is also substandard low 60s FT%.

Needs substantial shooting improvement to hang on in the league.
