Does that mean Bud will be gone or will they keep him as the QB analyst because of his relationships with the young QB's? Will be interesting to see where he goes for a WR coach.

Kakert said he expects Budmayr to be promoted to WR coach. Of course, he didn’t offer any criticism or questioning of that even though Budmayr was never a WR and has never been a WR coach. Budmayr is currently making much more than an ordinary analyst since he has been quasi QB coach (because Brian didn’t know what he was doing). So it’s hard to justify keeping him as just an analyst if Lester is QB coach. Also, optics of firing a black WR coach who used to be a WR and has WR coaching experience and replacing him with Budmayr are not good.

I would be disappointed if that happens. Lester had two WMU WR's drafted into the NFL. He seems to know what a good WR coach should look like.
