I think it would be very tough to come up with creative amenities to add to a wrestling facility to really make it stick out to a recruit so far to sway their decision on one program to another.     I helped build Coe’s new wrestling room a few years back; it includes a bigger weight room than what Iowa will have, enough mats for the whole team to comfortably practice on, hot/cold pool, sauna, and all the amenities they want/need and that’s a D3 school. I’m not saying Iowas new building...

    He got stuck coaching during two of the greatest coaching dynasty’s in not just wrestling but any sport. He even got one championship during Gables era. As soon as gable retired he was able to start winning them. He’s constantly put a good team out on the mat.
